Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, inspected the opening of nominations for the student union elections for the academic year 2024/2025.
The President confirmed that all preparations for conducting the student union elections have been completed, providing students with the full opportunity to choose their representatives in the student unions easily.
Prof. Tamer Samir noted that the preliminary lists of candidates will be announced on November 17, with appeals being accepted on November 18 and reviewed on November 19. The final lists will be announced on November 20, and the election campaigning will begin on November 21. The first round of elections in the colleges, along with the counting and announcement of results, will take place on November 24.
He added that a runoff election will be held on November 25, followed by elections for committee secretaries and their assistants at the college level on November 26. Elections for the President and Vice President of the Union at the college level will occur on November 27, concluding with the election of committee secretaries, their assistants, and the President and Vice President of the university union on November 28, 2024.
