The Permanent Joint Committee between Benha National University and Benha University held its first session at the headquarters of Benha National University in El-Obour City, chaired by Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President of Benha National University for Academic Affairs. The committee included Prof. Karim El-Dash, Vice President for International Relations, Prof. Mahmoud Shakl, Vice President for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, Prof. El Sayed Foda, Vice President of Benha University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Jehan Abdel Hadi Moussa, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, to discuss enhancing joint cooperation between the two universities.
Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby stated that the committee discussed several topics aimed at strengthening academic and administrative cooperation, including supporting the educational process at Benha National University and discussing the establishment of a joint hotel building at El Obour branch to serve students and College members. It was agreed to start preparing feasibility studies and engineering designs, as well as organizing a "Day for International Students" at Benha National University in collaboration with Benha University.
The committee also recommended enhancing cooperation in the international protocols signed with global universities, activating the cooperation protocol between the two universities to include consulting units and centers, nurturing talents, and preparing leaders, in addition to supporting entrepreneurship and innovation to contribute to community service and develop the capabilities of youth.
