Under the auspices of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of the University, Benha National University organized a celebration titled "Limitless Abilities" as part of the "Awareness" initiative launched by the university, continuing the efforts of the Egyptian state to empower individuals with disabilities and integrate them into society. This event was attended by:
- Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs,
- Mahmoud Shakl, Vice President for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, as well as
- Colleges Deans, in collaboration with the
- Psychological Support Center at the Educational Administration of Al-Obour city and the Franco Teatro Foundation.
The event also featured numerous champions and creators with disabilities, their parents, Mr. Saad Asal, Director of the Educational Administration in Kalyobiya, representing Mr. Mustafa Abdo, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Kalyobiya, along with Mr. Sherif Nail, Executive Director of the Franco Teatro Foundation, and several trainees who completed a training course on integration for students with intellectual disabilities.
Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized the university's commitment to actively participate in community initiatives and organize various events aimed at enhancing the social integration of individuals with disabilities, praising their unique abilities that deserve all support and recognition. He affirmed the university's commitment to providing all forms of support to our children with disabilities, stating that this commitment is a national, humanitarian, and religious duty.
Prof. Mahmoud Shakl noted that the university aims, through these events, to provide an inclusive and stimulating educational and community environment that allows individuals with disabilities the opportunity to express their talents and artistic and creative abilities.
Mr. Saad Asal added that cooperation between educational institutions reinforces human values and social integration, commending Benha National University for hosting this distinguished event.
The celebration featured artistic performances and diverse talents presented by champions with disabilities, impressing the audience and confirming that challenges cannot hinder ambition and creativity.
At the conclusion of the event, those who supported the champions of challenge were honored in recognition of their efforts to support and empower individuals with disabilities.
Additionally, an art exhibition was held showcasing many artistic and handcrafted works by individuals with disabilities. Prof. Tamer Samir and the academic leaders visited the exhibition, meeting the exhibitors and reviewing all the displayed works, praising the talents and abilities of these creative individuals capable of overcoming challenges. This celebration reflects the university's commitment to promoting values of equality and humanity, and its deep belief that diversity and integration are the foundation for building a strong society capable of facing future challenges, reaffirming its strategy aimed at social responsibility.
