Under the auspices of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, and as part of the university’s commitment to supporting students and encouraging creativity and participation in meaningful events, a delegation of students from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club (affiliated with the university’s Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Sector) visited Alexandria University on Monday, October 6, 2025, to participate in the First Entrepreneurship Forum between Benha National University and Alexandria University.
The visit was supervised by Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, Vice President of the University for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, and aimed to enhance collaboration and exchange expertise between the two universities in innovation and entrepreneurship, while fostering students’ creative thinking skills and supporting entrepreneurial projects.
Prof. Mahmoud Shakal presented a keynote highlighting the activities of the Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Sector, including training programs, innovation week events, and the university’s efforts to support student projects and transform their ideas into actionable models.
Students from both universities showcased entrepreneurial projects and ideas aligned with sustainable development goals, engaging in constructive discussions to exchange insights on idea development, teamwork, and entrepreneurship.
At the conclusion of the visit, Alexandria University honored Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, presenting him with the university’s shield in recognition of his efforts to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions.
Following the visit, the Benha National University delegation participated in Techne Summit 2025, hosted by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina from October 4–6, 2025, featuring prominent entrepreneurs and experts in technology and innovation.
This participation reflects Benha National University’s dedication to empowering students in innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems, building bridges with leading institutions in the field, and enhancing their competitiveness in the job market.
