Benha National University Organized Workshop on "Academic Program and Course Specification According to Updated 2025 Quality Authority Models"

In line with Benha National University's commitment to enhancing educational processes and ensuring academic quality, the Academic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center hosted a workshop titled "Academic Program and Course Specification Based on the Updated 2025 Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority Models" on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Library Hall in Building C. The event was held under the patronage of:

  • Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University
  • Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs

Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, accompanied by Prof. Ayman Samir, Dean of Veterinary Medicine College, inspected the workshop activities. The session was led by Prof. Ehab Mostafa El-Nahas Mohamed, Supervisor of the Academic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center.

The workshop targeted College members and quality unit directors from health sciences programs (Medicine, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, and Veterinary Medicine).

Prof. El-Maghraby emphasized that the workshop aimed to:

  1. Promote quality culture aligned with the updated 2025 authority models.
  2. Introduce academic standards for health sciences programs.
  3. Provide hands-on training for designing academic programs and courses under the new frameworks.

A total of 13 College members participated in the event.

The Vice President praised the organizers’ efforts in advancing educational quality and aligning curricula with global standards, stressing that adopting the 2025 updated models is a critical step toward academic excellence and preparing graduates for local and international job markets.

This workshop is part of the university’s broader plan to host a series of training sessions aimed at enhancing academic staff efficiency and fostering a quality-driven culture across all Colleges and programs.
