Benha National University Hosted Delegation from Arab University for Medical Sciences and Technology in Libya

Benha National University welcomed a delegation from the Arab University for Medical Sciences and Technology in Libya to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between the two institutions.

The meeting was attended by:

  • Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University
  • Ghaith Abdullah Khalil, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab University for Medical Sciences and Technology
  • Ashraf Al-Mashad, Director of the Human Medicine Program
  • Mahmoud Refai, Director of the Engineering Program
  • Asmaa Al-Bandarawi, Director of the Physical Therapy Program

During the meeting, Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized that Benha National University represents a distinguished model of smart universities in Egypt, combining modern infrastructure, excellence in academic programs, and a forward-looking vision in education. He highlighted the university’s commitment to preparing graduates equipped with creativity, innovation, and skills aligned with local, regional, and international labor market demands.

Prof. Samir added that the university prioritizes academic quality and accreditation, integrating education with scientific research and practical application to advance sustainable development goals. He reaffirmed Benha National University’s openness to collaboration with Arab and international institutions to exchange expertise and launch joint educational programs in fields such as medicine, engineering, and humanities.

Prof. Ghaith Abdullah Khalil expressed his enthusiasm for visiting Benha National University, praising its state-of-the-art facilities, advanced laboratories, and cutting-edge technological infrastructure. He stated that the visit aimed to explore collaborative opportunities in academic, scientific, and research domains, fostering knowledge exchange between the two universities.

Both parties discussed cooperation frameworks for:
