Participation of Benha National University's Computer Science Students in DevFest Cairo 2025

Benha National University participated with a delegation of computer science students in Egypt's largest tech event, DevFest Cairo 2025, hosted by Al-Madina University in Cairo on Saturday, December 13, within the university campus. This aligns with the university’s commitment to supporting student activities and enhancing students’ technical skills.

The participation aimed to expose students to the latest trends in programming, software development, artificial intelligence, and modern technologies through specialized sessions, interactive workshops, and direct engagement with industry experts and tech pioneers. This contributes to building their practical capabilities and preparing them for the job market while keeping pace with digital transformation requirements.

Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, emphasized that this participation reflects the university’s focus on linking academic knowledge with practical application, supporting outstanding students, and preparing graduates capable of competing locally and regionally.

Prof. Hussein Al-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, noted that the university encourages its students to participate in major scientific and technical events due to their critical role in skill development and fostering innovation.

Prof. Shady Y. Al-Mashhad, Dean of Computer Science College, explained that this participation is part of the college’s plan to support students academically and practically while enhancing their engagement with modern advancements in information technology.

DevFest Cairo 2025 is one of Egypt’s most prominent tech events, attracting thousands of students and IT enthusiasts from various universities.
