Benha National University Signs Cooperation Agreement with Berlitz Egypt to Enhance Students’ Language Skills

Benha National University has signed a cooperation agreement with Dynamic Minds, the company responsible for managing and operating Berlitz Egypt, to implement comprehensive training programs designed to enhance students’ language proficiency and strengthen their readiness for the labor market.

The collaboration aims to equip students with essential foreign language skills particularly English and German to enable them to compete effectively in modern professional environments. The agreement also includes specialized language training opportunities for university staff and faculty members.

As part of the partnership, the programs will include integrated language training for students, access to digital language-learning platforms for students, administrators, and faculty members, the provision of qualified instructors at the University, and preparation courses for internationally recognized English language examinations such as IELTS and TOEFL.

The agreement was signed by:

  • Ms. Nermeen Momen, Chief Executive Officer of Dynamic Minds (Berlitz Egypt)

The signing ceremony was attended by:

  • Dr. Mahmoud Shakal, Vice President for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship

  • Dr. Mahmoud El-Refaai, Director of the Engineering Programs

  • Dr. Mohamed Mostafa, Director of the Energy Sciences Programs

  • Dr. Iman Abdel Ghaffar, Acting Director of the Computer Science Programs

  • Dr. Mohamed Anwar, Director of the Center for Continuing Education

In addition to several faculty members from the University and representatives of Dynamic Minds.

Dr. Tamer Samir stated that the partnership reflects the University’s strategic commitment to developing students’ competencies in line with the evolving demands of the labor market. He noted that proficiency in foreign languages has become a key requirement for professional success.

He also emphasized that cooperation with Berlitz, a globally recognized language education provider, represents an important step toward offering high-quality language training programs based on modern teaching methodologies and international standards, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the University’s graduates at both the national and international levels.

For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Shakal explained that the University places strong emphasis on preparing students to succeed in increasingly interconnected and multicultural professional environments. Strengthening language proficiency, he noted, plays a crucial role in enabling graduates to compete effectively in local, regional, and global labor markets.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nermeen Momen, Chief Executive Officer of Dynamic Minds, expressed her appreciation for the partnership with Benha National University. She noted that the collaboration aims to deliver integrated language training programs that enhance students’ communication skills and professional readiness, and expressed her optimism for a productive partnership that contributes to empowering students and supporting their future career success.
