Benha National University’s Energy Sciences Students Participate in an Educational Field Visit to the Egyptian Company for Educational Technology Development

Students from Benha National University’s Faculty of Energy Sciences participated in an educational field visit to the BEDO, as part of the University’s ongoing commitment to strengthening practical training and enhancing students’ professional competencies.

Organized by the Faculty of Energy Sciences under the patronage of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, and Prof. Hussein El Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, the visit was conducted within the framework of the University’s cooperation agreements with industrial institutions and private-sector partners. The program was supervised by Prof. Mohamed Mostafa Afifi, Director of Programs, Faculty of Energy Sciences.

The visit was designed to familiarize students with advanced educational and training equipment used in renewable energy applications and to provide firsthand exposure to contemporary industrial practices and technologies.

As part of the program, students toured the company’s Research and Development (R&D) Unit, where they were introduced to the scientific methodologies employed in the design and manufacture of educational and laboratory equipment. They also gained insight into the technical development processes behind devices used across a wide range of energy applications.

The company’s Human Resources Department delivered a professional development session covering best practices for preparing an effective curriculum vitae, the key competencies sought by employers, and the personal and professional skills that enhance graduates’ career prospects.

The visit generated strong engagement from students, who actively interacted with company specialists and raised a wide range of questions regarding emerging technologies and labor market expectations. This direct exchange enriched their practical understanding and strengthened the connection between academic study and real-world application.

Benha National University reaffirmed its commitment to organizing similar field-based learning experiences that prepare highly qualified graduates capable of keeping pace with advances in energy and technology. These initiatives support Egypt’s sustainable development agenda and contribute to developing a generation equipped with the knowledge, technical expertise, and practical skills needed to excel in the modern workforce.
