As part of Benha National University’s commitment to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship and expanding access to international training and competitive opportunities, the University is inviting its students to take part in the National Entrepreneurship Initiative for Egyptian University Students, in collaboration with IBDL Learning Group and Skills Plus, the official representative of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) in Egypt.
Training Programme
The programme provides training and preparation in a range of entrepreneurship-related skills, including:
- Innovative thinking and the development of viable ideas.
- Business modelling and project planning.
- Entrepreneurship skills development and venture building.
- Preparation for the international examination leading to the Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ESB) Certificate, internationally recognised by NFTE.
From Training to International Competition
Following completion of the training and qualification, students will take part in the Egyptian National Entrepreneurship Competition, bringing together university students from across Egypt to compete at the national level.
The first-place winning team will have the opportunity to represent the Arab Republic of Egypt at the NFTE Global Finals in New York in November 2026, competing against teams from more than 20 countries worldwide.
The initiative also provides participants with opportunities to connect with business experts, industry leaders, and investors, helping them broaden their experience and strengthen their readiness for the labour market.
Participation Fees
- Online training and preparation: Completely free of charge.
- ESB certification and international examination: EGP 1,600 per student, payable directly to Skills Plus, the official representative of NFTE in Egypt.
Eligibility and Participation Requirements
- Applicants must be 22 years old or younger.
- Teams may consist of 1 to 4 students.
- Passing the international examination is required to qualify for the subsequent stages.
- Benha National University will organise an internal competition to select the team that will represent the University in the national competition.

An online workshop will also be organised for qualifying students, focusing on presentation development, pitching, and persuasive communication skills in preparation for the competitions.
