International Scientific Publishing Competition

As part of supporting researchers, approval has been granted to award bonuses for publications in distinguished journals with an Impact Factor, along with a listing of the research that qualifies for the bonus for each faculty at the university, through a semi-annual competition announced in January and July of each year. The evaluation will be based on the criteria outlined below.  

Procedures:

  • Applications must be submitted electronically via the university's online portal during the specified dates.
  • A scientific committee of experts in global databases will review the applications submitted by the university's researchers.
  • The Clarivate/Scopus database will be used as the reference.
  • Results will be announced on the university's online portal and sent via university email to all faculty members who applied.
  • A grievance period of 10 days will open from the date of results announcement, directed to the university president's email.
  • The committee will determine the amount of the bonus due to each member and will submit the names to the university president for approval.

Competition Dates:

  • This competition will be announced twice a year (April- October).

General Rules and Conditions:

  • These rewards are granted to college members and their assistants, as well as students, at Benha National University.
  • The university's name and the university email must be included in the research.
  • The incentives included in these regulations are motivational and subject to the university's discretionary authority; they do not create rights or claims by the recipients.
  • These regulations will be applied for three years starting from the date of the university council's approval and will be reviewed, updated, and amended based on their application.
  • Researchers may submit their work only once.
  • Individuals whose Google Scholar accounts contain research not authored by them will be placed on a blacklist and prohibited from receiving bonuses from the university's scientific research support programs.
