Under the auspices of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, the university organized a workshop on ultrasound and color Doppler for vascular examination. This workshop was held at the Medical Skills and Simulation Center at Benha National University in collaboration with the Egyptian Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
The event was attended by Prof. Ashraf El-Mashad, Dean of Human Medicine College, Prof. Shady Y. El-Mashad, Dean of Computer Science College, Dr. Hisham El-Sheikh representing the Egyptian Society of Radiology, Dr. Omar Khaled, a lecturer at the Faculty of Human Medicine, Prof. Ahmed El-Baz, a professor of radiology at Qasr El-Eini and the workshop trainer, along with several faculty members.
Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized the importance of developing the capabilities of medical staff at the university to become a leader in the field of education and continuous medical training by providing a developed educational environment and distinguished training courses.
He also pointed out that the university continues its efforts to achieve strategic partnerships with local and international educational and medical institutions, aiming to improve the level of medical services and enhance the skills of the workforce in this vital field. He affirmed the university's commitment to organizing more training courses in all medical specialties periodically to improve and develop medical competencies for sustainable development in the health sector.
The workshop featured many aspects that contributed to its success, including the use of the latest ultrasound devices available at the Medical Skills and Simulation Center at the university, aimed at training participants on modern techniques in this field, as well as conducting real practical training on patients, which enhances the value of training and ensures practical benefit for the participants.
It is worth mentioning that the training workshop will continue for seven days, with the participation of twelve doctors from various governorates of Egypt.
