President of Benha National University: Incentives to Support International Scientific Publishing for University Students

Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, chaired a meeting of the International Publishing Committee at the university, attended by Prof. Hussein El-Maghrabi, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and committee members. The meeting focused on the university's plan for international publishing and discussed the support mechanisms provided in this field to elevate the university's name locally and regionally.

Prof. Tamer Samir announced the launch of incentives for outstanding research students at the university, marking the first time such support has been offered in Egyptian universities. This initiative aims to encourage students to publish their research in international journals, which will reflect positively on their performance and promote a culture of teamwork through research groups.

Prof. Tamer Samir indicated that the meeting discussed mechanisms for supporting international scientific publishing for university students and established the conditions and regulations governing this support, all within the framework of enhancing the position of Benha National University in the fields of scientific research and international and local rankings.

Prof. Hussein El-Maghrabi stated that applications for international scientific publishing courses would be opened twice a year, in March and September. He added that clear regulations and procedures have been established to encourage Colleges members and their assistants to participate in international scientific publishing, while also providing opportunities for students to contribute in this area.
