President of Benha National University received a delegation from the University of Arizona

Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, received a delegation from the University of Arizona headed by Prof. Wadie Attia, Executive Director of Joint Programs at Arizona State University, and Prof. Rasha Wahib, Director of Joint Programs at Arizona State University in collaboration with Al-Jalala University. This visit aimed to enhance academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Kareem El-Dash, Vice President of Benha National University for International Relations, and Prof. Ashraf El-Mashad, Dean of the College of Medicine.

During the meeting, they discussed the exchange of experiences in higher education and explored ways to develop continuing education programs and dual degrees between the two universities. They also examined opportunities for student involvement in training programs and academic exchange.

Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized the university's commitment to enhancing international partnerships to improve the quality of education and scientific research. He highlighted the importance of collaboration with global universities, especially with the University of Arizona, which is considered one of the prestigious universities in the United States. He pointed out the significant impact of this cooperation on students and faculty members at both institutions.

Prof. Kareem El-Dash mentioned the university's efforts to strengthen its international partnerships in various fields, particularly student exchange and joint programs, which help students, gain a distinguished and diverse educational experience. He stressed the importance of academic collaboration between the university and other universities, especially in light of contemporary global challenges that necessitate academic and research cooperation among universities worldwide as a powerful tool to address these complex issues.

Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, added the importance of academic cooperation with the University of Arizona, confirming the necessity of exchanging knowledge and expertise between faculty members and researchers at both universities. This collaboration will allow students to access advanced academic programs, enhancing their opportunities in the job market and equipping them to face global challenges.

On another note, the meeting included a tour of the university's facilities, including workshops, laboratories, and lecture halls. The delegation expressed their happiness with the collaboration with Benha National University, praising the state-of-the-art facilities they observed, designed with the latest global architectural designs.
