On the occasion of International Women's Day, which falls on March 8 each year, I am pleased to extend my heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to all the women of Egypt. The Egyptian woman is the maker of generations and a fundamental pillar in building societies. She has always been and continues to be a model of giving, a source of inspiration, and a symbol of success in various fields.
At Benha National University, we take pride in the contributions of women across various fields of science, research, and administration, and we support their empowerment to enhance their roles. We affirm our ongoing commitment to creating a supportive educational and work environment that provides women with more opportunities for excellence and creativity.
We at Benha National University respect and appreciate the effective roles and contributions of female leaders within the university. We emphasize the pivotal role that women play in various sectors of the university, from senior academic leadership to administrative staff and workers.
Benha National University is distinguished by the presence of exceptional female leaders in various positions. Prof. Soheir Shaarawi serves as the Vice President of the University Board, while Prof. Mervat El-Deb is a member of the Board of Trustees. Additionally, two women manage academic programs at the university: Prof. Samia El-Azab, Dean of Dental College, and Prof. Doaa Aql, Dean of Economics and Business Administration College. Many women are also part of the faculty, while numerous women efficiently contribute to managing various departments across different specialties and tasks within the university. This reflects the university's commitment to empowering women and trusting in their capabilities and unique contributions.
Every year, I wish the women of Egypt well and peace.
