Under the auspices of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, Prof. Mohamed Said, Dean of the Engineering College, welcomed a delegation from (SRH) Berlin University of Applied Sciences to strengthen the collaboration between the two universities in the fields of education, training, and scientific research.
This meeting was attended by:
- Samia Al-Azab, Dean of the Dental College, and
- Shadi Al-Mashhad, Dean of the Computer Science College,
to discuss ways of cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two sides.
Prof. Tamer Samir confirmed that Benha National University continuously seeks to enhance cooperation with prestigious international educational institutions, supporting the national strategy for higher education and scientific research. He explained that the university focuses on benefiting from global expertise in education and training to provide distinguished education that aligns with global developments. He also emphasized that this collaboration helps prepare students for strong competition in the local and international job markets.
Prof. Karim Al-Dash, Vice President of the University for International Relations, pointed out the importance of collaboration with international educational and research institutions to benefit from specialized global expertise that contributes to the development of higher education, enhancing students' skills and preparing them for the job market.
For his part, Prof. Mohamed Said expressed the importance of the visit, noting that it aligns with the university's strategy to expand academic cooperation with global universities, thereby enhancing training and learning opportunities for students. He also mentioned that the university aims to provide an advanced educational environment that meets contemporary requirements and contributes to offering training opportunities that develop students' skills and enhance their ability to face job market challenges.
During the visit, university students presented a presentation about the university and conducted a tour of the campus, including workshops, laboratories, and classrooms, which are among the latest educational and technical facilities at the university. They showcased the latest equipment and training College offered by the university, which contribute to developing their practical and scientific skills. The possibility of launching joint academic College between the two universities in the near future was also discussed.
