Benha National University Signed Academic Cooperation Protocols with Chinese Universities to Enhance International Partnership

In its ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation and exchange academic experiences, Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, received a high-level delegation from several Chinese universities and educational institutions, including representatives from Beijing Institute of Economics and Management, Hunan University of Chemical Technology, and Shanghai Donghai University.

Several academic cooperation protocols were signed between the two sides. Prof. Tamer Samir signed a joint cooperation protocol with Mr. Tian Hongchong, President of the Beijing Institute of Economics and Management.

Prof. Karim El-Dash, Vice President of the University for International Relations, signed additional cooperation protocols with Prof. Xu Heng, Vice President of Hunan University of Chemical Technology, and Prof. Wang Yu, Vice President of Shanghai Donghai University. This was in the presence of Prof. Shady El-Mashad, Director of the Computer Science Programs, and Prof. Hazem Aliwa, Supervisor of International Relations Management, along with several members of the Chinese delegation.

Prof. Tamer Samir emphasized that the signing of these protocols is part of the university's strategy to build bridges of academic and scientific cooperation with prestigious global universities. He noted that the partnership with Chinese universities represents an important step towards developing educational and research programs that meet the requirements of the labor market both locally and internationally.

Prof. Karim El-Dash explained that the agreements cover multiple areas, including the exchange of faculty members and students, organizing joint research programs, in addition to launching a joint education program, reflecting the university's commitment to diversifying frameworks for academic cooperation.

Prof. Shady Y. El-Mashad also pointed out the importance of this cooperation in enhancing knowledge exchange and sharing experiences, especially in advanced technology fields. He mentioned that during the meeting, opportunities for academic cooperation were discussed with Dr. Fu Li Qin, Dean of the College of Artificial Intelligence at the Beijing Institute, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and modern technical programs. The meeting included mutual presentations where each party showcased its academic capabilities, with the Chinese delegation expressing admiration for the advanced infrastructure and modern academic facilities at Benha National University.

This cooperation aligns with the university's vision to activate strategic partnerships with higher education institutions globally, enhancing the quality of the educational process and achieving sustainability in academic and research excellence.
