The Board of Trustees of Benha National University held a meeting chaired by Prof. Gamal El-Saeed, Chairman of the Board, and attended by:

- The Board observed a moment of silence in honor of the late Ahmed Omar Hashem, member of Al-Azhar’s Senior Scholars Council, former President of Al-Azhar University, and Board of Trustees member.
- Recognized his contributions to the university’s academic journey. A commemorative shield was awarded to his family, received by Gamal Sosa, former University President.

- Extended gratitude to Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, for his recent visit and praise of the university as a model for Egyptian national universities.
