The President of Benha National University and a Delegation of University Students Participated in the Launch Ceremony of the "Future Scholars Grant" Initiative

Prof. Tamer Samir, the President of Benha National University, along with a delegation of university students, participated in the official ceremony for the launch of the national initiative to support outstanding students in Egyptian universities, titled "Future Scholars Grant," which was held at the Grand Celebration Hall at Cairo University, under the auspices of the esteemed Intissar El-Sisi, spouse of the President of the Republic, and in the presence of Prof. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister.

Benha National University's participation comes as part of its commitment to support its distinguished students and enhance their involvement in national initiatives aimed at empowering youth and investing in human capital, building a generation capable of competing locally and globally, in line with the Egyptian state's vision for the development of higher education and scientific research.

The ceremony witnessed the attendance of a group of state leaders, including Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, and Mr. Hassan Abdullah, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, along with several ministers, presidents of public, private, and national universities, leaders of the Ministry of Higher Education, representatives of banking institutions, and a number of students from Egyptian universities.

Prof. Tamer Samir expressed his pride in Benha National University's participation in this important national event, emphasizing the university's commitment to supporting its outstanding students and encouraging them to benefit from grants and national initiatives, contributing to the preparation of scientifically and research-qualified cadres capable of effectively contributing to comprehensive development and building the new republic.

He pointed out that students' participation in such national events helps broaden their horizons and enhance their awareness of the state's role in supporting education, motivating them to continue their academic excellence.

Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, explained that the participation of Benha National University's delegation was organized through the Student Activities Office, involving several students who received grants from the Central Bank of Egypt. The students actively participated in the event, which included a documentary film presentation and a dialogue session with several beneficiaries of the "Future Scholars Grant," during which they shared their educational experiences and future aspirations, enhancing students' awareness of the importance of national initiatives and their role in supporting their academic and professional journeys.
