Benha National University has successfully concluded the INNOVENTURE 2026 University Innovation Forum, held under the slogan “University Innovation in the Service of Industry and Sustainable Development.” The event was attended by university leaders, representatives from the Innovators and Talents Support Fund affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as a strategic partner, along with industry experts, entrepreneurs, and representatives from organizations supporting innovation.

Highlights from the Forum:
- Gamal El-Saeed, Chair of the Board of Trustees, emphasized that the innovation and entrepreneurship forum is a true reflection of the university's vision to support student creativity and build a generation capable of leading economic and social development. He pointed out that the university places significant emphasis on entrepreneurship as a key pillar for achieving sustainable development and fully supports initiatives that empower youth to turn their ideas into successful projects.
- Soheir Shaarawy stated that supporting students' creative capacities is a real investment in the future of the country, noting that innovative youth are the driving force for development in various fields. She highlighted the university's commitment to encouraging students to think creatively and providing the necessary support to refine their ideas into executable projects.
- Tamer Samir reiterated that innovation and entrepreneurship are among the university's strategic priorities, aiming to create a stimulating academic environment for creativity. He emphasized that the forum serves as an important platform for showcasing student projects and connecting them with industrial companies to support promising projects both technically and financially.
- Mahmoud Shakel explained that the forum reflects the university's efforts to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, showcasing a diverse range of projects that demonstrate the awareness and creativity of students from Benha National University and participating universities.
Event Features:
- The forum included an exhibition of innovative projects from students and startups, as well as two discussion sessions. The first focused on developing the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem and the integration of scientific research with industry, while the second addressed the journey of turning ideas into marketable products, financing, growth, and the role of universities in product development.
- A session on business incubators and accelerators featured speakers sharing their success stories and motivational messages for entrepreneurs, along with the presentation of the first startup to graduate from the university.
Awards: At the conclusion of the forum, 15 student projects were announced as winners after evaluation by specialized committees. The winning teams were honored, along with sponsors, strategic partners, and judges.
This forum serves as a significant step in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students, contributing to economic development and aligning with Egypt's Vision 2030.
