Benha National University Participates in the “You Are Life” Initiative in Cooperation with Hayah Karima Foundation, Serving 850 Beneficiaries

As part of the Egyptian state’s ongoing commitment to implementing presidential initiatives that receive strong support from the national leadership and aim to enhance the quality of life for citizens and invest in human development, Benha National University participated in the “You Are Life” initiative, organized in cooperation with the Hayah Karima Foundation and a number of national ministries and institutions. The initiative was held under the patronage of Dr. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, and under the supervision of Dr. Ayman Samir, Director of the Veterinary Medicine Programs, reflecting the University’s support for national efforts aimed at expanding social protection and promoting sustainable development for the residents of Qalyubia Governorate.

The outreach convoy, organized in cooperation between Benha National University and the Ministry of Health, provided services to 850 beneficiaries. The initiative included comprehensive medical services delivered through the participation of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, and Faculty of Physical Therapy. In addition, awareness, cultural, and recreational activities for children were organized with the participation of the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design.

The convoy witnessed active participation from faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and university students, reflecting a strong spirit of teamwork and institutional commitment to community engagement and public service.

Dr. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, affirmed that the University’s participation in the “You Are Life” initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to fulfilling its societal role and supporting national initiatives aimed at improving citizens’ quality of life. He emphasized that community service remains a central priority for the University alongside its academic and research missions, noting that the University continuously seeks to mobilize its academic and human resources in service of the local community.

In the same context, Dr. Ayman Samir, Director of the Veterinary Medicine Programs and supervisor of the outreach convoy, stated that organizing such initiatives stems from the University’s mission to actively contribute to national development efforts and to support programs that enhance the quality and accessibility of services provided to citizens. He added that cooperation with the Hayah Karima Foundation and the Ministry of Health reflects the effective integration between state institutions and civil society in delivering tangible benefits to local communities.

Benha National University reaffirms its commitment to continuing its active participation in national development initiatives that contribute to advancing the goals of Egypt Vision 2030 and to building a more aware, healthier, and sustainable society.
