Benha National University organized an academic and community engagement visit to Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357, bringing together a delegation of faculty members, teaching assistants, and students from several faculties. The initiative forms part of the University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration with leading healthcare institutions while promoting its broader mission of community engagement.

Commenting on the initiative, Dr. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, noted that the visit reflects the University’s commitment to integrating academic excellence with meaningful community engagement. He emphasized that collaboration with a leading medical institution such as Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 provides valuable opportunities for students to gain practical exposure within a highly specialized healthcare environment.

During the visit, the delegation toured several specialized hospital units, including the CyberKnife Unit, chemotherapy treatment facilities, clinical pharmacy units, and outpatient clinics. The tour provided students with insights into the hospital’s comprehensive care system and operational practices, as well as the psychosocial and recreational support programs offered to patients and their families.
