Benha National University has strengthened its engagement with industry through the signing of a series of cooperation agreements with a number of specialized companies, including Tronix, Highlight Group, and TOUCH’N GO. The agreements were signed by Dr. Mahmoud Shakal, Vice President for Employment, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, in the presence of program directors and representatives of the partner companies.
Dr. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, noted that these agreements reflect the University’s strategic orientation toward building effective partnerships with industry stakeholders. He added that this approach is aligned with the national direction toward strengthening the link between education and the labor market.
He further emphasized the University’s commitment to fostering innovation and creativity, while providing meaningful practical training opportunities that bridge academic learning with real world application, and support the development of graduates equipped to compete at both the national and international levels.
Dr. Mahmoud Shakal highlighted that the agreements form part of the University’s broader approach to equipping students and graduates with market-relevant skills through applied training and knowledge exchange with industry partners. He added that such collaborations contribute to strengthening students’ professional readiness and expanding their employment prospects.
The scope of cooperation includes the delivery of specialized training programs for students and graduates, the organization of conferences, seminars, and workshops, and support for student and research projects. The agreements also provide pathways for outstanding graduates to access employment opportunities, in addition to facilitating academic exchanges, joint research initiatives, and collaboration in areas related to innovation and industrial and service-sector investment.
