Vice President for Academic Affairs Reviews Midterm Examination Process for the Second Semester

As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the integrity of the academic process and ensuring the quality of educational outcomes, Dr. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, conducted an inspection tour to review the progress of the second-semester midterm examinations for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The visit covered examination committees across the programs of Medicine, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Economics and Business Administration, and Visual Arts and Design, with the aim of ensuring the smooth administration of the examination process and the provision of an appropriate and supportive environment for students.

He was accompanied during the tour by a number of program directors from different faculties. The visit included an on site review of several examination halls to monitor the regularity of proceedings and verify adherence to the approved regulations and academic standards, in a manner that supports order, fairness, and equal opportunity for all students.

Dr. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, emphasized that the effective and well regulated administration of examinations constitutes a fundamental pillar of academic quality.

He stressed the importance of upholding the highest standards of discipline, transparency, and fairness throughout the examination process, while reaffirming the University’s commitment to the continuous development of its assessment system in line with contemporary international educational standards and best practices.

Dr. Hussein El-Maghraby underscored the importance of maintaining a calm, organized, and well-managed examination environment, supported by continuous monitoring and prompt response to any observations. He also stressed the need for examination papers to be clear, well-structured, and fully aligned with the intended learning outcomes of each course.

the Vice President commended the high level of organization and discipline observed across the examination committees and praised the efforts of faculty members in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examinations.

He also affirmed that follow up measures would continue throughout the examination period to ensure full compliance with all academic regulations and quality standards.
