Dr. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, announced the suspension of in-person classes for Thursday, with midterm examinations postponed to a later date to be announced in due course. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to safeguard the wellbeing of students, faculty members, and the wider University community. The University confirmed that academic activities will continue remotely through its online learning system.
The President of the University also clarified that the decision does not apply to units and departments whose responsibilities require an on-campus presence, including University Security, Maintenance, Occupational Safety and Health, as well as staff assigned to essential shift-based operations. These arrangements are intended to ensure the continued functioning of core services and the implementation of all necessary measures to maintain the safety and operational readiness of the University’s facilities.
Benha National University extends its wishes for the safety and wellbeing of all its students and the wider community.
