Benha National University Announces Results of the Third International Scientific Publishing Competition

Benha National University continues to advance its institutional commitment to scientific research and the promotion of a strong international publishing culture, having officially completed the review and evaluation process for submissions received as part of the third cycle of the International Scientific Publishing Competition for faculty members, researchers, and students across the University.

Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, affirmed that research excellence remains a central pillar of the University’s strategic vision, noting that supporting researchers forms an essential part of its broader efforts to foster academic distinction and strengthen the University’s scholarly presence at both the regional and international levels.

Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, emphasized the University’s continued commitment to encouraging publication in globally indexed, high impact academic journals, given their critical role in enhancing the quality, visibility, and impact of institutional research output.

He further noted that the current edition of the competition received 28 research papers, distributed across the Scopus and Clarivate quartile classifications as follows:

  • 13 papers in Q1
  • 8 papers in Q2
  • 4 papers in Q3
  • 3 papers in Q4

Appeals Period

The University has also announced the opening of the appeals period for 15 days, from Monday, 6 April to Monday, 20 April 2026, via the following email address:  dt@bnu.edu.eg

Appeal requests should include the following information:

  • Full name
  • Faculty
  • Details of the research paper concerned

Accessing the Results

For information regarding the published results, applicants are advised to contact the Director of the relevant academic program affiliated with the submitting author.

Important Notice

The final results will be announced following the completion of the review of all submitted appeals.
