As part of the Presidential initiative to attract international students to pursue higher education in Egypt, Study in Egypt, and within the framework of the EGYAID initiative, and under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Benha National University participated in a scientific visit organized by the Central Administration for International Students Affairs. The initiative was undertaken under the guidance of Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, and Prof. Hussein El-Maghraby, Vice President for Academic Affairs, with the aim of enhancing the academic and practical experience of international students enrolled at Egyptian universities.
Benha National University was represented by a number of its international students from various disciplines, including the medical faculties, who joined a diverse student delegation representing multiple nationalities. The participation reflects the Egyptian state’s commitment to promoting knowledge exchange and strengthening the capacities of international students. The visit featured a specialized scientific program at the Urology and Nephrology Center, Mansoura University (Ghoneim Center), one of the region’s leading specialized medical institutions. Participants were introduced to the latest technologies and equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, as well as to advanced approaches to clinical and practical training, thereby strengthening the connection between academic study and the requirements of the international labor market.
The Benha National University delegation was accompanied by Prof. Nesreen Ibrahim, Supervisor of the International Students Office, who oversaw coordination with the organizing bodies and ensured that participating students derived the maximum academic and professional benefit from the visit.
