New Sporting Achievement | Benha National University Engineering Student Qualifies for the 2026 Karate World Championship

Benha National University extends its warmest congratulations to Omar Sherif, a second-year student in the Faculty of Engineering and a member of the Egyptian National Karate Team, on qualifying to represent Egypt at the 2026 Karate World Championship, which is scheduled to be held in Poland.

Omar secured his place in the international championship after winning third place in the Senior Men’s division at the North Africa Karate Championship, recently held at the Cairo International Stadium, with the participation of a distinguished field of leading athletes from across the region. 

This achievement represents a source of great pride for Benha National University and reflects the ambition, discipline, and excellence demonstrated by its students across a wide range of fields, particularly in athletic competition.
