Benha National University Strengthens Experiential Learning Through Academic Visit to Specialized Design and Architecture Exhibition

Benha National University organized an academic visit for students of the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design to a specialized exhibition focused on design, architecture, furniture, and innovation, as part of the University’s continued commitment to strengthening experiential learning and bridging academic study with professional practice.

Supervised by Prof. Ghada El-Mesallamy, Director of Programs, Faculty of Visual Arts and Design, the visit offered students firsthand insight into emerging trends in interior design, furniture design, innovative materials, and contemporary presentation technologies.

The exhibition also provided an opportunity for students to engage directly with the work and creative approaches of leading designers and participating companies, allowing them to better understand current industry practices and evolving market expectations.

By combining academic learning with real-world industry exposure, the experience helped students further develop their creative thinking, visual awareness, and practical understanding of contemporary design and innovation processes.

The visit forms part of Benha National University’s broader educational approach to preparing students for the rapidly evolving creative industries through experiential learning and closer engagement with professional practice.
