Benha National University Opens Applications for Equivalent Transfer for the 2026–2027 Academic Year

Benha National University announces the opening of applications for equivalent transfer to its academic programs for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Applications are available for the following faculties:

  • Faculty of Medicine
  • Faculty of Dentistry
  • Faculty of Physical Therapy
  • Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
  • Faculty of Engineering
  • Faculty of Computer Science
  • Faculty of Economics and Business
  • Faculty of Visual Arts and Design
  • Faculty of Energy Sciences

Application Period

Saturday, 27 June 2026 – Wednesday, 8 July 2026

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Have met the minimum admission requirements for the target faculty in the year they obtained their secondary school certificate.
  • Have successfully completed at least one full academic year at their current institution.
  • Complete all transfer procedures before the start of the semester for which admission is requested.
  • Have no record of disciplinary action or dismissal from their current university.
  • Have achieved a minimum grade of 60% in any course submitted for credit transfer.
  • Hold a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00.
  • Transfer no more than 50% of the total credit hours required for graduation from outside Benha National University.
  • Have a minimum remaining period of study of:
    • Three academic years for programs exceeding four years in duration.
    • Two academic years for four-year programs.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit:

  • A copy of the secondary school certificate (or its equivalent).
  • An official academic transcript authenticated by the Council of Private and National Universities.
  • Official course descriptions or syllabi approved by the current university.
  • An official transfer approval issued by the current university.
  • A certificate of good conduct.
  • A copy of the applicant's National ID card.

Application Fee

An application fee of EGP 1,500 is payable upon submission. The fee is non-refundable.

Important Information

Submission of a transfer application does not constitute admission.

Transfer requests are subject to:

  • completion of the academic credit evaluation process;
  • approval by the President of Benha National University; and
  • final approval by the Council of Private and National Universities.
