Benha National University has become the first national university in Egypt to achieve three internationally recognized ISO certifications for integrated management systems, marking a significant institutional milestone that reflects the University's continued progress in strengthening governance, advancing organizational excellence, and embedding a culture of quality across its administrative operations.
The announcement was made by Prof. Gamal El-Saeed, Chair of Benha National University's Board of Trustees, who noted that the achievement demonstrates the University's success in establishing a modern institutional management framework aligned with internationally recognized standards and best practices.
Prof. Gamal El-Saeed stated that the University has been awarded three international certifications covering Quality Management, Environmental Management, and Occupational Health and Safety Management. He noted that the achievement reflects a strategic vision adopted from the University's inception, focused on building a modern academic institution founded on sound institutional governance, operational excellence, and internationally benchmarked management practices.
He added that Benha National University has successfully embedded quality as a core institutional value, integrating continuous improvement into its administrative culture and operational processes. This has contributed to strengthening institutional performance while enhancing the quality and efficiency of the University's academic, administrative, and educational services.
El-Saeed further noted that achieving these internationally recognized certifications demonstrates the maturity of the University's institutional management system despite its recent establishment, underscoring its capacity to sustain continuous development and pursue the highest standards of institutional performance and operational excellence.
The Chair of the Board of Trustees congratulated the University Council and all members of the University community on this achievement, expressing his appreciation for the collective efforts of the teams whose dedication made this milestone possible. He reaffirmed the University's continued commitment to strengthening its culture of quality and continuous improvement in support of its long-term strategic vision and institutional excellence.
The three international certifications were formally received by Prof. Tamer Samir, President of Benha National University, in the presence of the University's Vice Presidents, Program Directors, the Secretary-General, Prof. Mohamed Bassiouni, Supervisor of the Administrative Quality Office, and Directors of the University's administrative departments.

- ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System.
- ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System.
- ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
The certifications were awarded by QAS International, reflecting the University's compliance with internationally recognized management system standards that promote organizational effectiveness, environmental responsibility, and safe and healthy working environments.
He noted that these internationally recognized certifications represent an important milestone in the University's institutional development, demonstrating the successful implementation of an integrated management system built on continuous improvement, effective process management, and organizational efficiency.
