Applicants must:
- Hold a PhD in the relevant specialisation.
- Have sufficient academic and professional experience gained since obtaining the PhD.
- Have conducted scientific research and published innovative and original research papers in the relevant field in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
- Have contributed to community service at the faculty or university level.
- Have distinguished teaching experience at a reputable university.
- Be of good character and reputation.
- Successfully pass the personal interview.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant Positions
Applicants must:
- Hold a Master's degree in the relevant specialisation for Assistant Lecturer positions.
- Have achieved an overall grade of at least Very Good in their first university degree and in the subject of specialisation, or an equivalent qualification.
- Be of good character and reputation.
- Successfully pass the personal interview.
Required Documents
- Curriculum vitae (CV).
- Graduation certificate, with the original to be submitted upon appointment.
- Official transcript of the first university degree, with the original to be submitted upon appointment.
- Master's certificate for Assistant Lecturer applicants, and both Master's and PhD certificates for faculty applicants, with the originals to be submitted upon appointment.
- A recommendation letter from the Master's thesis supervisor for Assistant Lecturer applicants, and from the PhD supervisor for applicants for Lecturer positions.
- A hard copy of the Master's thesis for Assistant Lecturer applicants, and hard copies of both the Master's thesis and PhD dissertation for Lecturer applicants, to be submitted upon appointment.
- Experience certificate or other official proof of professional experience.
- Copy of the national ID card.
- Internship certificate for applicants to positions at the Faculty of Dentistry.
- Two recent passport-sized photographs, to be submitted upon appointment.
- Military service status for male applicants and public service status for female applicants applying for Teaching Assistant positions.
