1. Introduction

 Benha National University is committed to promoting gender equality, diversity, and inclusion across all its academic, administrative, and research activities. This Gender Equality Plan (GEP) sets out the principles, objectives, and actions through which the University ensures equal opportunities for all genders.

2.Public Commitment

This Gender Equality Plan is:

  • A formal document approved and signed by the top management of the University
  • Publicly available on the official website of the University
  • Applicable to all staff, researchers, students, and management bodies

3. Dedicated Resources

Benha National University commits to allocating appropriate human and organizational resources to implement, monitor, and periodically review this GEP. Responsibility for implementation lies with senior management in cooperation with relevant administrative units.

4. Data Collection and Monitoring

Benha National University undertakes to:

  • Collect and analyze gender-disaggregated data on staff, researchers, students, recruitment, promotion, and decision-making bodies
